What to do for Halloween? Trick-or-Treat on India Street is Here!

It’s the spookiest time of the year, which means Little Italy’s annual Trick-or-Treat on India Street is returning to the neighborhood! Taking place on Friday, October 25th, little witches, goblins and ghouls will roam the streets of Little Italy to enjoy an evening of traditional Halloween festivities. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their most elaborate costumes to participate in the trick-or-treating fun. The event is kicking off in the Piazza della Famiglia, on India and W. Date Streets, with music, Halloween décor, candy and more. Kiddos and their parents are encouraged to pick up a map of participating businesses and then trick-or-treat throughout the community—going door to door to collect delicious treats and candy from the participating businesses in the neighborhood.

For 13 years the Little Italy Association of San Diego has brought the annual Halloween event to the streets of Little Italy. This festive community event allows everyone in Little Italy and its surrounding areas to participate! Trick-or-Treat on India street has made it possible for urban families to take part in the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating in a safe environment. Get ready to fill those bags with tasty treats and make some memories that’ll last a lifetime! Participating businesses include:

The annual event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in the Piazza della Famiglia and businesses will pass out candy until 7:30 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy the spooktacular Piazza that will have Halloween-themed music playing throughout the night’s festivities. The 10,000 square foot public space will be decked out for the season with fall and Halloween backdrops that are perfect for capturing the best family photos.
