Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love we just can’t get enough of! Whether you’re celebrating with your friends, famiglia, or significant other, we’re rounding up the top places and experiences to make your weekend one to remember!
Café Gratitude
Cafe Gratitude is excited to bring back Executive Chef Dreux Ellis’ 100% Organic Artisanal Valentine’s Day Chocolate Box. These delectable sweets are sure to have that special someone swooning with six vegan chocolates that include Almond Butter Squares, Coconut Almond Truffle, and White Chocolate Pistachio Cardamom. Available only from February 1st to 14th, in-store or through a take-out/delivery order here.
Civico 1845
Try their mouthwatering bites including the Tartare Di Manzo, Risotto Pescatora, Baccala, Antipasto Calabria, or Risotto Pescatora. Reservations can be made here.
Cloak & Petal
This year’s Valentine’s Day menu includes a three-course meal with your choice of Blistered Shishito Peppers, Shrimp Tempura, or Chicken or Vegetable Gyoza for an appetizer, the Kagutsuchi, Popstar Roll or Crazy Usagi as the sushi course, and your choice of Short Ribs, Yuzu Glazed Salmon, and Seasonal Roasted Vegetables as the main course. Last but not least, the dessert options include the Mochi Gelato Parfait, Mochi Sorbet Parfait or the Chocolate Chip Cookie. This special is $60 per person and reservations can be made here.
Davanti Enoteca
Davanti will be offering their best-selling Focaccia di Recco, Chef’s Scallops dish and personalized wine pairings. Reservations can be made here.
Frost Me Cafe & Bakery
Frost Me Café will have two amazing experiences! They’ll be hosting a Galentine’s High Tea ticketed event on Saturday, February 13th featuring homemade sweets and savories from the bakery. Tickets can be purchased here. On Valentine’s Day they’ll be offering a complimentary glass of champagne with any purchase of breakfast or brunch – yum!
Graze by Sam
Their Valentine’s cocktail is the Graze by Sam Love Potion which includes Hendricks gin, simple syrup, lemon, pomegranate, egg white. The cocktail will be available on Valentine’s Day through Sunday, February 20th. Reservations can be made here.
Herb & Wood
Herb & Wood is offering a decadent 4-course prix fixe menu on Valentine's Day, February 14th. Our menu features hits like Oysters, Hamachi, and Chocolate Lava Cake. Mains include a choice of a Lamb Rack with pomegranate glaze and couscous, a herbaceous Halibut, or pink peppercorn-crusted Beef Filet. $108 per person, optional $68 wine pairing. Hotel Republic
Hotel Republic is offering a four-course dinner for $120 and a four course dinner with wine pairings for $150 for two people. They’re also offering the Be My Valentine Room Package which includes:
- Four course dinner with VIP seating
- Fresh strawberries & sparkling wine
- Complimentary WiFi
- Late checkout 2pm

Juniper and Ivy
Join Juniper and Ivy to celebrate love, friendship, family, and everything in between. Chef Anthony Wells and his team have crafted a locally-sourced menu showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients in Southern California. Optional supplements include specialty bubbles/wine pairings from Sommelier Nick Gergen, a dozen roses from San Diego favorite Allen’s Florals to be presented at the table, and boxes of Chef Lindsay's homemade chocolates.
Menu highlights (with vegetarian-only options) include Oysters (strawberry mignonette / ginger / mint), Egg Yolk Raviolo (french onion broth / short rib / parmesan bread crumbs Egg Yolk Raviolo), Beef Tenderloin (alaskan potatoes / cheddar hollandaise / steak sauce), Forbidden Rice (domingo roja bean hummus / cucumber / pistachio crunch), and Strawberries and Cream Puff (rosewater meringue / hibiscus gelee).
The celebratory offering will be available TWO nights: Saturday, February 12th, and Monday, February 14th. Reservations can be made here. $100/person, $80/person for vegetarian guests.
Kettner Exchange
Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded Kettner Exchange’s Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski has crafted a Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu and optional wine pairings from Beverage Director Claire Sexton. Highlights include Tuna TarTar “Twinkie,” Hot and Spicy Lobster “Noods,” New York Striploin, (Carrot / Turnip / Potato Puree / Bearnaise), and Caramelized Banana with Candied Walnuts. Reservations can be made here. $95/person.
Little Italy Food Hall
It’s a celebration at the Food Hall all week long! Their special Flame of Love cocktail will be available starting Valentine’s Day through the Sunday, February 20th The Flame of Love includes Uncle Ed’s Dragon Berry Vodka, Raspberry puree, lemon juice, simple syrup.
They will also be hosting a Valentine's Day Cheese platter class with Venissimo Cheese on Monday, February 14th from 6-7pm. Hosted by local cheese expert and chef Sarah, the event will take you through the process of creating a delicious cheese and charcuterie platter to pair perfectly with two wines! Tickets can be purchased here and include all necessary materials needed to create your cheese platter and 2 wines per person.
Mikkeller
Mikkeller’s Valentine’s special includes a 750ml bottle of Inertiatic beer/wine series I-IV, a pair of Mikkeller branded 12oz Teku glasses, and half a dozen of organic chocolate covered strawberries! This will be available Valentine’s Day weekend only. Reservations can be made here.
RoVino
Join RoVino for a four-course Valentine’s Day special including Mushroom & Sage Bruschetta, Fig & Goat Cheese Arugula Salad, your choice of Lobster Fettucini Alfredo or Spicy Lamb Chops and a Red Velvet Torte for $85. Reservations can be made here.
Vino Carta
Vino Carta will be partnering with Night Garden Floral to offer bouquets for sale throughout the weekend. They will be available for purchase Saturday February 12th to Monday, February 14th and can be paired with a wine from their extensive selection!
Wolfie’s Carousel
Are you longing to escape this Valentine’s day? Celebrate the day of love while being transported to the streets of Paris at Wolfie’s Carousel Bar. Guests can take a spin on the carousel and indulge in dishes including Wagyu Tartare, Steak Frites, Oysters Rockefeller, and more. A champagne and caviar special will be available, along with “La Rouge,” a new specialty Valentine’s Day spritz (aperol / el corazon puree / lemon / muddled thyme sprigs).
