Little Italy North’s Art d’Strada

The Little Italy Association of San Diego and Little Italy North were honored to create an event that showcased the Arts & Design District in a green light.  On Saturday, September 24, 2011 over 20 galleries housed the creative recycled & reclaimed material art of over 25 artists; all to the pulse of the musical talents – Todo Mundo, Hargo and dance interpretation by Cathedral X.

The recycled & salvaged material art was juried by three trade professional judges.  The winners and honorable mentions in the following categories were:

Most Outstanding Grand Prize: Roxana Miu
Honorable Mentions for Most Outstanding Category: Trish Amante, Daniel Stein & Frank “Cesco” Pamies

WOW! Grand Prize: Steven Derks 
Honorable Mention for WOW! Category: Sean Patrick Palmer, Trish Amante & Stephanie Paige

Trashiest Grand Prize: Frank “Cesco” Pamies
Honorable Mention for Trashiest Category: Teresa Espaniola, Susan Osborn & Barbara Withers
